Buds and blossoms
Further to the springtime theme, the buds are out on my plum trees and the grass is greening. I love the signs of spring as much as I hate the cold!
On my coffee shop days, (or is that daze?) I work on the revision of one of the two stories I plan to submit, or on the first draft of short story #18, for the 'COFFEE SHOP SHORTS' collection. This particular story, is in fact a piece of creative non-fiction, based on stories my father has told me.
Remember all, they will only want 20 pages, so make sure they are the best you can do!
Edit, edit revise, revise.
In my un-coffee shop daze. :)
I have edited and rewritten my query letter to where I think it sparkles. I have targeted 5 agents that handle mid-grade novels of the kind I wrote, and prepared the five queries to suit each ones taste.
The synopsis is written (9th draft,) and I am tightening up the first fifty pages of the manuscript. (12th draft)
How do I find the time to work full time anyway?
May spring cause your Muse to blossom.

With your dedication, to your craft........
You can be nothing but, an accomplished writer. The more time, the more words, the clearer your writing life, comes, and the path is paved to your success. Although, you work full time, and write in your spare time, tells me one thing. You have not time for boredom. That's awesome Jaw, you are using your time wisely.
A good evening to you, Sir Jaw.
